As part of our livelihood skills training program, around 70 tour guides in Coron and El Nido, Palawan successfully completed their Level 2 Tour-Guiding Accreditation in partnership with the Department of Tourism – MIMAROPA and the Municipal Tourism Offices of Coron and El Nido. Conducted on August 11–17 and August 25–31, 2025, the training enhanced participants’ competencies in professional guiding, safety standards, environmental stewardship, and visitor engagement.
This initiative strengthens the local tourism workforce, elevates service quality, and supports sustainable tourism growth in these world-renowned destinations while creating better livelihood opportunities for community-based tour guides.
