One hundred thirty-eight (138) youths from the municipalities of Taytay, El Nido, Linapacan and Coron participated in Environmental Youth Action Camps held in various locations in the province in November.

The environmental camps aim to enjoin and educate the next generation on the importance and functions of ecosystems through interactive learning exercises, lectures and actual exposures to ecosystems such as beach forest, mangroves, seagrass and corals.

The camps are implemented in partnership with local governments, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Palawan.
