Batangas City, Batangas - A total of 227 technical skills scholars marched to receive their technical skills NC II certification on October 29, 2014 at the Batangas Convention Center, with majority already booked for jobs in local and international industries.
The Bridging for Employment through Skills Training (BEST) scholars were composed of finishers in scaffolding, piping insulation, pipefitting and electrical installation and maintenance, trained in some of the best technical-vocational training centers in Batangas.
Speaking on behalf of Batangas City Mayor Eddie Dimacuha, Batangas Association of Barangay Captains President Angelito Dimacuha exhorted the scholars to persevere and aim for excellence in their respective fields of endeavour. Other special guests were Batangas City PESO Manager Noel Silang who shared current huge demand of skilled workers in various industries locally and abroad.
