Puerto Princesa, Palawan—Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Adventist Hospital Palawan (AHP) on October 13, 2022 to support emergency response for the Malampaya offshore operations and provide a charity fund for indigent patients from Palawan.
AHP has been a long-time partner of Malampaya, since 1999, when the Malampaya JV upgraded and expanded the hospital’s select facilities in Puerto Princesa such as operating theaters and emergency ward, and provided a charity fund for indigent patients to cover infectious diseases, mother and child care and trauma cases.
The new MOA covers AHP’s hospital and medical center in Puerto Princesa and El Nido.
