Batangas City, Batangas—A graduation ceremony was held anew by Malampaya Foundation Inc (MFI) for 95 Bridging for Employment through Skills Training (BEST) vocational scholars last June 29, 2022 at the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Training Center covered gym.

The graduates completed trainings in Scaffolding Works, Heavy Equipment Operation, Instrumentation Control and Servicing and Blasting Painting in TESDA-accredited training center-partners of MFI in Batangas.

The BEST program is among MFI’s flagship programs which capacitates out-of-school youths and unemployed or under-employed adults in technical skills to be able to work as skilled workers in light to heavy industries locally and overseas.  From 2007-2021, the number of MFI’s BEST scholars has reached 10,315.

The graduation ceremony was graced by officials from the Department of Energy, Shell hilippines Exploration, TESDA and MFI, the first physical graduation rites to be held after the Covid lockdowns.
