Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga — Bridging Employment through Skills Training (BEST) program scholars of Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) from Batangas recently completed a high-value safety skills training to upgrade their competency in international industrial safety standards and practices.

The fifty (50) scholars, finishers of piping insulation and electrical installation and maintenance NC II courses in Batangas, gained additional certification that increases their employability and marketability in the local and international job markets, particularly in the light and heavy industries.

BEST, a skills training and employment generation program, is a flagship program of MFI launched in 2007. Since inception, MFI has benefitted over 5,500 scholars (as at end-August 2017), with employment rates in the range of 80-85%.
